CHRIST THE WORD
In the beginning when the Earth was void
and without form
God spoke His word and framed the world
Changing the face of the deep
Creating life, plants, animals and man
Until the word said "IT IS FINISHED"
And it was, it was good, it was perfect
Then he blessed the seventh day
He rested and enjoyed the work He had completed
The Word proceeded forth from His mouth
It had accomplished His design
The work of Christ, the Word, forming the earth was complete
The disciples cried out, “Do you not care
if we perish?”
He stood and said 'PEACE BE STILL' and all was calm
The tempest that crashed against the boat threatening their very lives
Halted at His word
The waves that rocked the boat and tossed it to and fro
Settled at His word
The ripples that lapped and splashed against the side of the boat
Ceased at His word
All was quiet - Silence - not a breath of wind, not a sound or voice.
The Word had accomplished that to which it was sent
And had not returned void
The work of Christ, the Word, stilling the storm was complete
When Christ was here on Earth He "must
be about His Fathers business''
He raised the dead, healed the broken hearted
Liberated the bruised, recovered the sight to the blind
Preached the gospel to the poor, deliverance to the captives
The acceptable year of the Lord
He was the bread of Life, the living water
Yet He prayed in anguish "Let this cup pass from Me"
He resigned Himself to death, lifted up on a cross
With His last fleeting breath cried 'IT IS FINISHED'
And it was, the Word had accomplished that to which it was sent
He was not returning void
The work of Christ, the Word on Earth, was complete.
When the Holy Spirit fell on the one hundred
and twenty
As cloven tongues of fire on each of their heads
The Word had come again to be in his people, as He said
They preach the Word, granting grace to the hearers
They heal the sick by the Word, lifting up the fallen
They demonstrate faith hope and love through the Word
They go places led by the Word, touching every corner of the globe
They became the Word on earth, His written epistle manifested in flesh
Then the Word shall return as a bride adorned for her husband
It is not returning void
The Word has accomplished that to which it was sent
And the two shall become one flesh as it was in the beginning

Joh 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the
life was the light of men.
Joh
1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him,
and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:
which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will
of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we
beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth.

11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed
by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which
do appear.

see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus

Joh 14:18 I will not
leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world
seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that
day ye shall know that I am in my Father,
and ye in me, and I in you. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished
the work which thou gavest me to do. That they all may be one; as thou, Father,
art in me, and I in thee, that they also
may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the
glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as
we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as
thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me,
be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given
me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father,
the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that
thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare
it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may
be in them, and I in them.

55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth
and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall
my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in
the thing whereto I sent it.

15:21 For since by man came
death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in
Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his
own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
Then cometh the end, when he shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down
all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet. The last enemy that
shall be destroyed is death. For he hath
put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did
put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then
shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him,
that God may be all in all.

served by us, not having been inscribed by ink, but by the Spirit of the living
God, not in tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.
