How can I touch Him, the consuming
fire?
How can I see His face and live?
If I touch Him I would be consumed in an instant
If I see His face My heart would fail in awe
Yet he took bodily form, in the form of His Son
God, who is infinite, dwelling in flesh
The words which compare Him to our
limitations
Everlasting, Unbounded, Unchangeable, Perfect
Almighty, Unfathomable, Uncompromising, Timeless
All the things I am not
Yet through the blood of Christ, the blood of the new covenant
God who is infinite dwells in me
So if we have God in our lives- the infinity- what does that do to us?

NOTES:
How many words we use to describe God compare to our limitations
Everlasting- he wont deteriorate with time, does not need preservative- we do
Unbounded- He isn't limited by boundaries- we are
Unchangeable- He doesn't change like the seasons or the weather- we do
Perfect- with no flaws- we have many flaws
Timeless- without beginning or end, past, present and future do not exist, they
do for us
Almighty- the greatest might there is- there is none stronger, we have limited
strength
Unfathomable- Deeper than we could ever know, a fathom being as wide as we can
grasp with out stretched arms
He is infinite unbounded unchangeable, perfect

Deu 6:4
`Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah; and thou hast loved Jehovah thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, and these
words which I am commanding thee to-day have been on thine heart, and thou hast
repeated them to thy sons, and spoken of them in thy sitting in thine house,
and in thy walking in the way, and in thy lying down, and in thy rising up,
and hast bound them for a sign upon thy hand, and they have been for frontlets
between thine eyes, and thou hast written them on door-posts of thy house, and
on thy gates. [Youngs Literal translation]
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ:

and gave himself for me.
Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest
me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and
thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know
that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
1Jo 1:1 That which was from the beginning,
which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked
upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested,
and we have seen it, and bear witness,
and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested
unto us;) that which we have seen and heard
declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship is with the Father, and with
his Son Jesus Christ.
1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality,
dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen,
nor can see: to whom be honour and power
everlasting. Amen.

the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
