Life's Purpose !
I may
have eaten a meal, groomed the car
Dusted the shelves, walked the dog, visited a friend
Bought the groceries, bushed my hair, cleaned my teeth
Washed my clothes, read the paper, drunk a coffee
But without Him it is as nothing, I might as well have stayed in bed!
When
you say 'what have you achieved today'
Well, I may have performed a successful business deal
I may have married a beautiful wife, or a handsome husband
I may have earned a degree, a new rank or status
But without Him it is no different than watching the grass grow, or paint dry
I may
have reached for notoriety, wealth or fame
I may have preached so well a thousand people were saved
I may have given a million dollars, twice over, to the poor
Or given my body to be burned as a sacrifice in front of a hundred million viewers
But without Him it has no purpose, it has no meaning
I may prophecy and understand
all the mysteries
I may know all the bible, read it in Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek
I may be able to move mountains with a word
I may be able to sway mens opinions, put forth conclusive arguments
But if I do all this without Him, it is presumptuous and pointless
Yet if I live in the Spirit,
Commit all my empty nothingness to Him
Wait on Him and dwell in the secret place of the Most High
I can do all things through Christ who gives me the ability
By his grace I can leap over a wall, heal the sick, cleanse lepers, raise the
dead
When I live in His will, the will of the GOD who is love
My thoughts, my actions, my every breath, every atom of my being,
HIS will gives my Life purpose
