One with a psalm, a piece of badly
written poetry
One with a hymn, an anthem of long ago
Another with a spiritual song fresh off a new CD
One edifying with a timely piece of encouragement
One exhorting with a word of advice
Willing to be crucified by another a little over zealous
One comforting with a revelation of salvation
One interpreting another’s foreign language
Two or three in the fellowship of Christ
Loving unconditionally which is the
bond of perfection
Showing mercy from the depth of our soul
Two in agreement so let it be done in heaven
Helping the widow and fatherless brave their affliction
Visiting someone poorly with a spiritual tonic
Fellowshipping on a picnic down by the lake
Sitting, just watching the sun go down
Talking over a biscuit and a cup of coffee
Two or three united in Christ
Enjoying each others company in His
presence
Worshipping Him in Spirit and in truth
Rejoicing in His grace toward us in our everyday lives
Together so much the more as we see the day approaching
The Holy Spirit administering the needed gifts
Guiding the callings together at the proper time
In the two or three plus One
Our hearts burning with His presence

Mat 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall
agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for
them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together
in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
1Co 1:9 God is faithful,
by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and that there
be no divisions among you; but that ye
be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1Jo 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto
you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these
things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message
which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in
him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk
in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he
is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus
Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and
beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel
against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do
ye. And above all these things put on
charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in
your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your
hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks
to God and the Father by him.
Phi 2:1 If there be
therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship
of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded,
having the same love, being of one accord,
of one mind. Let nothing be
done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each
esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but
every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also
in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be
equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form
of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion
as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death
of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name
which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things
in earth, and things under the earth;
and that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory
of God the Father.
Jam 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the
Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and
to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Let
the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
