Watching For The Dawn
Watching for the dawn, the breaking of
the day
Craving the vibrance of hope on our soul
The first shaft of light breaking through the veil of gloom
Preceding the waves of fire washing away the darkness
It is the dawn of His returning; we will need our lamps no more
Wait and be still, watch intently the
horizon
Communicate with Him who knows the day and the hour
Listen, take heed to His voice of direction
Be diligent and wait on His grace on your calling
It is the dawn of His returning; we will see Him as He is.
